"Whozit" refers to a person who's name you don't remember, and "whatzit" refers to an object that you can't recall the name of. Ex: He's sitting over there with whozit. Ex: I just bought this new whatzit. However, "whozit" and "whatzit" aren't as common to use today. Nowadays, it is more common to use "whatshisname" or "whatshisface" when you can't remember someone's name, and "thingamabob", "thingamajig", or "thingy" when you can't recall the name of an object.
