Is it okay to replace "tip" with "trick"?

I would say that it would not carry the same meaning if you replaced "trick" with "tip". We use "trick" to say that some method is the most effective/quickest way to do something. In this case, for the hamster, the quickest/most effective method is to move quickly (get in and out). The word "tip" however, is just a suggestion that may work. It does not mean that it would be the most effective or quickest way to do something. Ex: His tip was for me to take each plate one by one. But the trick was to stack them and carry them all together. Ex: I need some tips on solving this problem. Ex: A. What's the trick to complete this maze? B. The trick is to start at the end and work backwards.
