"Electrocute" is to get injured or killed by a volt of electricity/an electric shock. Getting electrocuted is very dangerous and painful. It can happen due to several factors, especially if an appliance is plugged into an outlet and gets water on it. Being electrocuted can cause serious injuries and possibly death. Here are some example sentences of electrocute being used: Ex: She was electrocuted by the outlet in the water. Ex: This person died by electrocution. Ex: They were seriously injured by getting electrocuted due to having an appliance that was plugged in near water.
