"Barf" is an informal verb meaning to vomit or throw up. You can use "barf" for situations in which something is disgusting, cheesy, or uncomfortable. Ex: That couple's PDA (public displays of affection) is over the top. It makes me want to barf. Ex: My dog barfed all over the sofa.
