There is a common idea by non-British people that London is wet and gloomy all the time. The truth is that London is one of the driest cities in the UK and it’s not even in the top 10 of the rainiest capital cities in Europe. British weather is also generally really mild thanks to the surrounding seas. Temperatures almost never drop below zero and we rarely see any kind of extreme weather events such as hurricanes, blizzards or severe thunderstorms. So the answer is that the weather in London is mild, though it can be a bit rainy sometimes. Ex: The weather in London is actually very mild. Ex: I prefer the mild temperatures of London.
