"Fellow" is another way of saying man. It is a little old fashioned and is not commonly used. The modern equivalent would be "guy". "Fellow" is considered to be an informal phrase. Ex: He seems like a nice fellow. Ex: I thought he was a decent fellow, but I was wrong.
