In this video, "wipe out" is actually a cooking term which means to remove all the remaining oils, liquids, or ingredients from a pan. Technically, both "wipe" and "wipe out" could have been used here, but Gordon Ramsey has chosen to use the specific cooking term instead. Ex: Can you wipe the counter for me? Ex: Don't wipe out the pan when you're done cooking.
