"Chains" is a slang term referring to necklaces. The term is because necklaces are formed using links, just like a chain would be. "Grills" is also a slang term for a type of dental jewellery worn over the teeth. They are usually made of gold or silver and just snap over your teeth. Ex: I'm thinking of getting some grills to match my new gold chain. Ex: Did you hear that John is wearing grills now?
