In a restaurant setting, a waitress/waiter can say "What would you like?" or "Are you ready to order?" "What would you like to drink?" "What can I start you with?" These questions are all asking what you want to eat or drink. These questions are typically followed up by questions asking about how you would like your food prepared, what sides you want, etc. A: What can I start you with? B: I think I'll start out with the jalapeno poppers, please. A: Are you ready to order? B: Yes, I'll have the chicken teriyaki, please. A: What would you like? B: I would like to have the Philly Cheese Steak.
