It basically means that someone or something is characteristic of winter, or has something to do with cold weather. “Wintery” is another way to spell “wintry”. Ex: The cold, wintry weather is set to continue for most of this week. Ex: You look chic and stylish. That outfit is perfect for the winterly January weather.
