"Mistletoe" is a plant that has become known as a kissing plant. During Christmas in western culture, it is a tradition to hang up mistletoe above doorways and entrances. Traditionally, any two people caught underneath the mistletoe together have to kiss each other. This tradition originated in England. People don't really follow this tradition anymore, however, it is still referenced and well-known.
