Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

"Right" is being used as an adverb here. When we use "right" in this way it has two meanings. First, it means exactly or all the way. Ex: I've got a pimple right in the middle of my forehead. Ex: They built a row of hotels right in front of my new office. The second meaning is simply for emphasis, which is how it is being used in this clip. Ex: She walked right (all the way) past me and didn't say hi. Ex: I'll be right back (I will return very soon).
