"Adventure Bay" is the name of the setting of this show, but "bay" is indeed a geographical term referring to a coastal feature in which the land curves in to surround a sea by land on three sides. However, it's also commonly used in the name of places like children's parks and amusement parks to indicate "bay" as a place of fun, such as the example of the Paw Patrols show. Ex: We scuba-dived in a hidden bay by the ocean. Ex: I heard Adventure Bay amusement park opened some new rides. Should we go?
