Please let me know the difference between "interaction" and "communication."

"Interaction" means to speak or spend time with others. "Communication" means to exchange information with others. "Interaction" deals more with speaking to someone face-to-face. "Communication" means to exchange information in some sort of way. This can be done verbally, written, through the media, internet, etc. Ex: We need to work on our communication skills. Ex: Our interactions have been brief. Ex: The boss communicates with his staff through email. Ex: He doesn't like to interact with others often.
