When we use the phrasal verb "stumbled into (something)" it means to start doing something by chance and without previous intention. So it has the nuance of something being by accident. Ex: Kate says she stumbled into the fashion industry. Ex: Many people go through life, doing jobs they stumble into but do not love. Ex: Keep focused guys. We don't want to stumble into a trap. Ex: She was a little drunk so she stumbled into the wrong tent.
