Does "athletic stuff" only refers to sports? Or does it also imply any physical activities?
"Athletic stuff" usually refers to sports or athletics. It could also be used with general physical activities such as running. But for example, dancing wouldn't be considered an "athletic" activity. As an adjective, "athletic" can be used to describe how fit or active someone is. Ex: I'm not a very athletic person. I'd prefer to take a stroll in a park rather than going to the gym. Ex: Oh wow! You do athletics? That's impressive.
