"To be freaked out" significa sentirse muy emocionado, emotivo o tener miedo a algo. Estas emociones pueden ser negativas o positivas. Aquí, el emisor le pregunta a su amiga si le asusta estar sola. Ej: "The weather is usually very hot in Hawaii, so people freak out (get very excited) when it snows." (En Hawai suele hacer mucho calor, por lo que la gente se vuelve loca cuando nieva.) Ej: "My favorite singer announced a concert in my city, so I started freaking out." (Mi cantante favorito anunció un concierto en mi ciudad, por lo que me volví como loca.) Ej: "Mom is going to freak out when she sees the mess the dog made." (Mamá se va a volver loca cuando vea el desastre que ha hecho el perro.)
