Esta frase es una frase hecha. "Get off on the wrong foot" significa "empezar con mal pie", es decir, empezar algo mal o empezar una actividad cometiendo un error. Ej: "I made a mistake on my first day and got off on the wrong foot with my new boss." Ej: "Yeah, forgetting the lyrics was definitely getting off on the wrong foot."
