¿Por qué no hay "the" delante de "first"? ¿Sería correcto no poner "the" antes de "first"?

Si el emisor hubiese querido ser muy correcto lingüísticamente entonces habría dicho: "today is the first morning in the house," o "this is the first morning in the house". Los nativos del inglés a menudo omiten las primeras palabras de una frase al hablar, sobre todo palabras como "the", "are you", "I am", "how", etc. Ej: "First batch of cookies are ready!" = "The first batch of cookies are ready!" Ej: "Getting tired?" = "Are you getting tired?" (¿Te estás cansando?) Ej: "So exhausted." = "I am so exhausted." (Estoy tan cansado.)
