"How much" generally refers to asking the amount of something. This can be the price, weight, or anything else of numerical value. Ex: How much rice did you buy? Ex: How much do the train tickets cost? However in the case of the video here, "how much" is used to mean "to the degree that", which implies that something is a lot or a great degree. In this case, "how much" still refers to the "amount" of something as it means "a lot", but it is used differently. Ex: A: What are you thinking about? B: How much I wish I could quit my job. Ex: I can't stop thinking about how much I want a dog.
