"Landscape" can mean a large area of the countryside. It can also be used to mean a view or picture of the countryside, or the act of making that picture e.g. landscape photography. "Landscape" is also a verb meaning to change the appearance of an area of land usually by planting trees, flowers and other plants. Ex: The mountains make the landscape even more beautiful. Ex: This painting for the Devon landscape is wonderful. Ex: It would be too expensive to landscape the garden.
