Is "menacing voice" a countable noun? I thought it is countable, because there is "a" in the "a more menacing voice."

"A menacing voice" is considered a countable noun. What makes a noun countable is if the noun needs an s or es added to the ending to become plural. A noncountable noun only has one form to be both singular and plural. The noun "voice" becomes "voices. For example, cat, table, blanket, song, and speech are all countable nouns. Furniture, allure, information, rain, and deer are all uncountable nouns.
