"Instantly" is a synonym for "immediately", and both words are pretty much interchangeable. So you can use the word "instantly" whenever you are describing an action that occurs all at once or very quickly. Ex: It instantly started raining when we went outside. Ex: The thunderstorm woke her up instantly.
