While "fix" is usually used to mean to repair something in general, to "fix up" is an informal verb used to indicate that something old or broken will be fixed or improved in a drastic way. In this video, the singer has used "fix up" to imply that he will completely fix or improve a broken car so that it can be driven again. Ex: I bought an old house that was foreclosed and completely fixed it up. It looks like new again. Ex: I'm helping my dad fix up a broken pickup truck.
