These two words are actually made up words. -ish and -oid are commonly added to the end of a word. Adding these endings to different words actually changes the meaning of the word it is added to. It changes the meaning from its original meaning to "something similar to" or "like" the original meaning. -oid is not as commonly used as -ish. In this clip, Miranda is telling Stevie that she is "sort of a friend" or "kind of a friend" to Tamara. Ex: She is such a humanoid. Ex: The show "Blackish" is a comedy. Ex: We are close-ish. I don't know her all that well. Ex: That dog is a demonoid!
