"Nailed it" is a slang expression that is said when someone does something successfully. Despite this, it is usually said sarcastically when someone does something that is a "failure". Ex: I can't believe I got an A on this test. Nailed it! ("Nailed it" used when someone does something successful) Ex: A: I asked her on a date, but she said no. B: Nailed it!
