"Good to go" is a very common English expression that is used a lot. Before I can tell you how to use this expression, it is really important to understand the definition of it. "Good to go" means to be ready or prepared for something. It can be used in pretty much any kind of situation where someone is ready to do something. To use "good to go," all you need is to be ready for something. You can also say it to pretty much anyone, especially since English doesn't have too much of an emphasis on formality. So it can be said to a friend, family member or even an acquaintance. Whether that be a class, a vacation, an interview, etc., it is fairly easy to use and is very versatile. It can be used as a statement and as a question. Here are some example sentences: Ex: I'm good to go. Finished up all of my assignments. Ex: You good to go? Ex: He is good to go for vacation next week. Another common phrase that is similar to "good to go" would be "all set." It has the same definition and is just as commonly used as "good to go."
