I've heard of "got to rush, got to hurry" but is "got to dash" also a common expression? What does "got to dash" mean?

"Got to dash" means "I have to leave quickly". This phrase is somewhat common, it is a little old-fashioned, so a more common term is "I have to go now". Ex: I'm running late, got to dash! Ex: My bus is here, I have to go now.
