JFK, also known as John F. Kennedy, was the 35th United States president from 1961 until 1963 when he was assassinated. He is notable for being the youngest elected president, he established the Peace Corps, he handled the Cuban Missile Crisis, he pushed for civil rights for African Americans, among many other accomplishments. There are many different locations named after him such as the JFK international airport in New York, streets, museums, etc. He also was one of the well-loved presidents in United States history.
