In my knowledge, "climb" means to go up. But is it possible to use "climb" with "down"?

Yes it is! You can definitely use "climb" with "down." "Climb down" is a phrasal verb. A phrasal verb is a verb and a preposition that are commonly put together to indicate an action such as "get up," "come here," "write down," etc. Ex: Hey can you climb down from there? Ex: He climbed down the ladder. Ex: The kitten couldn't climb down from the tree.
