The phrase feature film, is used to describe a movie/ film which has a running time long enough to be considered the only thing require to fill a program. The term was originally used to refer to the main, full-length film in a cinema program that also included a short film and often a newsreel. This is however no longer the case and the term is used mostly to talk about the length and show the difference between "short films" and TV shows. These days most feature films are between 75 and 210 minutes long. Ex: A lot of Disney animated movies have a short before the feature film. Ex: This is just a short film not a feature film.
