"One-time thing" means something that happens only once and won't happen again. You can use this phrase when you are telling someone that an action or event won't be happening again. Ex: This concert is a one-time thing! The band won't be performing anymore after this! Ex: It was a one-time thing. I don't want to go on another date with you. Ex: This deal is going away soon. It's only a one-time thing.
