"Short-haul" is an adjective meaning traveling or transporting people or goods over a short distance. We can think of this as relatively short distance flights, such as domestic flights. "Long-haul" is another term used to describe travel or movement over long distances, such as intercontinental flights. Ex. I flew a short-haul from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi today. Ex. I have a long-haul flight from Ho Chi Minh City to New York tomorrow. Ex. Long-haul flights are so tiring, it's really difficult to get over the jetlag.
