Is there any difference between "vault" and "safe"?

There is a bit of a small difference. They are both used to store important belongings or items, but safes are smaller and can be moved, while vaults are larger and often built into the building itself. Ex: I have a secret safe in my closet. Ex: The robbers broke into the bank's basement vaults.
