Can I change this sentence to "Do you see something, like, powder"? If I change the sentence, how does the meaning change?

You can change this sentence to "Do you see something, like, powder?" These two sentences have the same meaning in general, the only subtle difference is that "Do you see any, like, powder?" simply means "Do you see any powder?" and "Do you see something, like, powder?" means "Do you see any powder or something similar to powder?"
