Why does he say "baby" here?

Here he says "baby" to refer to his hole. In English, sometimes people refer to something they are very proud of or think is very cool as "baby". "Baby" is used in this way especially when talking about cars, boats, motorcycles or other vehicles. However, this is not super common anymore and it is very informal. Ex: I bought this baby at a used car dealership. Isn't she a beauty?
