"You're telling me" is an informal expression used when someone is in complete agreement with the previous statement or is already aware of what has just been said. In this video, SpongeBob states that driving the car feels like he's floating in the air. His companion responds with "you're telling me" to share that he is well aware of that, as he is literally floating in the air behind the car. Ex: A: Wow, it's cold today! B: You're telling me. Ex: A: It's tough being the middle child. B: You're telling me. I'm the middle child in my family.
