"Customer" and "client" mean the same thing, i.e. a person who is paying for a good or service. However, customer is used more commonly in retail settings (such as people purchasing things in a store), and client is used more commonly to refer to an individual paying for a service, which in the case of this video, is a legal service. Ex: Your Honor, my client would like to plead guilty. Ex: There are many customers in the grocery store in the evening.
