Is it okay to use "look up self-absorbed" instead of "look self-absorbed up"?

Yes, it would be exactly the same to say "look up self-absorbed" than to say "look self-absorbed up". Both sentences are correct and are equally common to use. The variation used is up to the preference of the speaker. This can be used for many different phrasal verbs. Here's another example of this with the phrasal verb "drop off": Ex: I'm going to drop off my friend at the doctor. Ex: I'm going to drop my friend off at the doctor. Both sentences here have the exact same meaning although the word "off" is placed differently.
