What is different between "my strategy" and "a strategy of mine"?

So, both phrases imply "belonging." However, "a strategy of mine" implies that it's one of many strategies. Whereas "my strategy" only indicates belonging, unless you were to say "one of my strategies" then they would mean the same thing. But usually, when you have many of one thing, you'd say "[something] of mine," if you only have one, you'd say "my [something]." Ex: A plan of mine is to go live in the jungle for a year. But I have too many plans, so it's hard to decide what to do. Ex: My plan is to live abroad for a year. => singular, clear plan.
