How's it different "God" from "deity"? Also, it seems like "deity" is a very rare expression, is it right?

"Deity" is not a word used commonly in conversation. "God" is a specific deity (usually Christian), whereas other religions and cultures have their own deities with their own names. As a whole, any god or goddess of a religion is a type of deity, but "God" with the capitalized "G" is more commonly associated with Abrahamic-Judaic religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam - although Muslim usually refer to God as Allah) that only have one deity. Ex: Many religions have multiple deities. (Multiple gods) Ex: I pray to God every day.
