Is it mandatory to adopt Euro if you are part of the EU?

It is not a requirement, but it has been highly encouraged as it facilitates greater exchange between EU nations. For example, before Brexit, the UK was part of the EU but still used the British Pound Sterling (£). Other countries that are part of the EU but have not adopted the Euro include Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Sweden.
