Is "reckon" British English? Does American English also use "reckon" a lot? Please explain more about the nuance of "reckon".

"Reckon" is more common in British English than it is in American English. In American English, "figure" or "think" is used more often than "reckon." Some Americans will use the word reckon, but it isn't as common as "figure" or "think."
