What does "predestined to something" mean? Could you give some more examples for this?

Great question. When we say that something was predestined, it means that it could not have been prevented or changed because it had already been decided by a higher power e.g God or fate. Ex: It seems the project is predestined to fail because there have been so many problems. Ex: I feel like we were predestined to meet each other. Ex: I think his company was predestined to fail. They had such a poor business plan.
