When can I use the expression “jump to conclusions”?

"Jump to conclusions" means to make an evaluation before you have thought about the situation and have all of the facts and information. You can use this expression when someone makes a quick judgement you are not sure about or don't agree with. Ex: Don't jump to conclusions, just because your wallet is missing doesn't mean someone stole it. You might've just lost it, let's look for it first.
