These are slightly different! Although both oversee a team or group of people, managers are usually the individuals making decisions in a company, whereas a supervisor is the person overseeing the work to make sure the decisions get implemented. So they play similar but slightly different roles! (Sometimes, the manager might also be the supervisor!) Ex: I was assigned a supervisor to make sure I completed the work correctly. Ex: Our manager has made the decision for us to work offline permanently.
