Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

This expression is usually used after a list has been given. It's to show that although something has been mentioned last, that does not make it less important than everything else already mentioned. Ex: I'd like to thank my parents and mentor. Last but not least, I'd also like to thank my friends. Ex: It's important to work hard to achieve your goals. Last but not least, it's also vital that you take time to rest and enjoy life.
