Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

The phrase "out of your mind" has two common meanings. The first use is to say that you are unable to behave or deal with things normally because something has made you very worried, unhappy, or angry. Ex: She was out of her mind with grief. Ex: I'd go out of my mind if I had to do her job all day! The second use, and the one that is being used in this video, is more informal. It is used to say that someone is extremely stupid or mentally ill. Ex: You must be out of your mind paying £500 for one night in a hotel! Ex: Are you out of your mind, it's freezing outside. I'm not going swimming.
