What kinds of word can be used to emphasize the comparative(nicer, taller, etc)?

You could also use the words "far" or "a lot" instead of "much" to add emphasis. However, it does depend on the context and the sentence structure. If used incorrectly, they could sound unnatural. Ex: It is far better to fail at trying than to not try at all. Ex: This house is a lot nicer than our previous one. Ex: That dress looks so much prettier than the other one.
