Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

I believe so. This is fairly common when it comes to speeches or stories. The speaker will repeat a statement like this to indicate that he or she was trying to motivate themselves. Ex: She kept saying, "You gotta do this, you gotta do this," to me.
